NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Pediatric Department. You will assess acutely ill children, coordinate rapid multidisciplinary care, and support families during high-stakes scenarios in a Level I trauma setting.

This full-time night position requires a Bachelor's in Nursing, NYS RN licensure, and active BCLS/ACLS/PALS. Experience in pediatric emergency care and relevant certifications (TNCC, ENPC, CEN) are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain).
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Strong Emergency Department nursing experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess pediatric patients in ED and rapidly coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Provide direct patient care and family support in high-stress, time-critical situations.
• Collaborate with physicians, paramedics and nursing staff to ensure safe, efficient care.

Location New York, New York Shift: Night Flex (United States of America) Description: Staff Nurse (RN) - Emergency Peds Department - Full Time Nights At NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Emergency Department (ED) nursing is a moment-to-moment, career-transforming experience. As a designated 911 receiving hospital, our facilities include Level I Trauma Centers for both adult and pediatric patients, a Psychiatric Emergency Receiving Center, a citywide Burn Center and more. Across all departments, our nurses collaborate with paramedics, physicians and others to use induced hypothermia, digital radiology and other novel techniques. This is a full time position, working 12-hour overnight shifts. This position is focused in the Peds Emergency Department.

Preferred Criteria

• Certifications in: TNCC, CEN, ENPC, TPEN
• Strong Emergency Department nursing experience
