Whether you’re a seasoned nurse or just starting your journey (new grads, we mean you!), this could be your next best move.

The Job Stuff:

• Location: 5373 Merton Drive, Mason, OH 45040
• Status: Part Time
• Schedule: Evenings 7:00pm - 11:00pm (3-4 shifts per week on rotation)
• Pay: LPN starting at $29/HR, based on licensure; RN starting at $33/HR, based on licensure

Responsibilities:

• Institutes appropriate nursing interventions to assist with residents’ conditions and prevent complications.
• Performs resident rounds to assess physical and emotional status, implementing necessary nursing interventions.
• Responds to resident and family concerns, ensuring documentation and communication of resolutions.
• Coordinates admission, discharge, and transfer of residents.
• Prepares, administers, and documents medications.
• Ensures all shift reports are communicated to the next nurse and that staff is informed about resident status.
• Consults with licensed or registered nurses, physicians, or practitioners as needed.
• Clarifies any orders or treatments that seem inaccurate or contraindicated by consulting with providers.
• Performs other duties as assigned or appropriate to the position.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an Ohio Board of Nursing approved nursing program or school of nursing.
• Active LPN or RN license in Ohio; CPR certified.
• Excellent bedside manner.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with electronic health record systems.
