Job summary

Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania – Warminster Campus – is immediately hiring a Staff Nurse: LPN to organize, deliver, and direct professional nursing care to residents in a compassionate setting.

You will serve as charge nurse, document resident data, administer medications, and participate in rounds while complying with nursing regulations. LPN license and 3+ years of LPN experience are required; nursing home experience preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Serves as charge nurse for assigned resident care unit, directing CNAs and coordinating with families, physicians, and departments.
• Collects data on residents and documents condition and care provided, completes MARs, TARS, and physician orders.
• Performs clinical tasks such as glucometer and pulse oximetry, administers medications as ordered, monitors response and IV fluids.
• Prepares for and performs rounds, accepts physician orders including verbal/telephone orders in compliance with regulations.

Pay: Up to $39/hr! (Based on experience) PLUS Shift differentials: Evening $3.50/hour and Nights $2.50/hour

As a Staff Nurse: LPN, you will carry out our Mission of Love by organizing, delivering and directing professional nursing care to residents.

Our Staff Nurse: LPN is responsible for the following:

• Serves as charge nurse for assigned resident care unit assuring continuous clinical leadership at all times. Directs CNAs regarding resident care and notifies families, physicians, and departments of residents' needs.
• Collects data on residents and accurately documents residents' condition. Documents care provided. Completes assigned paperwork, i.e., would documentation, recap of physician's orders, MARS, TARS, etc. on each resident on assigned unit.
• Performs clinical testing such as glucometer and pulse oximetry as necessary. Administers ordered medications as approved treatments including monitoring of IV fluid. Monitors effectiveness of medications and treatments.
• Prepares for and performs rounds. Accepts physician's orders including verbal/telephone orders as appropriate and in compliance with regulations and nursing practice.

What You Need as a Staff Nurse: LPN:

• LPN experience minimum 3 years
• LPN PA License
• LPN Nursing home experience minimum 1 year
