Job summary

Seton Residence, operated by Daughters of Charity Ministries, Evansville, is seeking Staff Nurses (RN or LPN) for full and part-time day and night shifts. Join a resident-centered team caring for seniors in a private, homelike setting with generous benefits and competitive pay.

Responsibilities include administering medications, coordinating with physicians, supervising aides, and ensuring quality care with confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of nursing.
• Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing.
• Previous experience in a health care or long-term care facility preferred.
• Must maintain a professional approach with confidentiality.
• Must be able to endure 70% to 100% of scheduled shift with physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Assures health needs of patients are met.
• Communicates with supervisor to ensure medications, treatments, and therapies are met.
• Maintains health service notes and patient responses.
• Supervises nursing assistants and transportation aides during meals and feeding.
• Promotes continuity of care through communication with physicians and health team.
• Administers medications as ordered.
• Makes rounds with Medical Director/physicians as assigned.
• Evaluates performance of aides.
• Gives and receives daily patient reports.
