Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide and document professional nursing care to telemetry and stroke patients per care plan.
• Coordinate and delegate care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel.
• Communicate findings to the appropriate person(s) as indicated.
• Adhere to NIAHO standards and SRH policies; follow Nursing Policies and Standard Work.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested by Nurse Manager or Director.

Utilizing the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) provides and documents professional nursing care to telemetry and stroke patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established SRH and Nursing Policies and Standard Work. Coordinates and delegates the care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel. Communicates findings as indicated to appropriate person(s). Must adhere to (meet) the requirements for educational hours as outlined in the NIAHO standards for Primary Stroke Center. Perform any other job-related duties as requested by Nurse Manager or Director.

Job Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina. ADN degree. BLS certified. ACLS within 1 year. Basic and Advanced Arrhythmia within 1 year. NIHHS Certificate within 1 year.
