Job summary

Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 8 Tower PCU on the night shift. You will provide and document professional nursing care to telemetry and stroke patients, following the nursing process and medical plan of care.

Responsibilities include coordinating care with other professionals, documenting findings, and ensuring compliance with NIAHO standards for the Primary Stroke Center.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
• ADN degree.
• BLS certified.
• ACLS within 1 year.
• Basic and Advanced Arrhythmia within 1 year.
• NIHHS Certificate within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) to provide and document professional nursing care to telemetry and stroke patients.
• Coordinates and delegates care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel.
• Communicates findings to the appropriate person(s) as indicated.
• Adheres to educational hours requirements per NIAHO standards for Primary Stroke Center.
• Performs other job-related duties as requested by Nurse Manager or Director.
