Job summary

Self Regional Healthcare in Greenwood, SC is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 8 Tower PCU, full-time night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) to provide skilled telemetry and stroke care. You will follow the Nursing Process, coordinate with the care team, document care, and adhere to SRH policies, with required SC RN licensure and current BLS/ACLS within 1 year.

ADN degree required; NIHHS certificate and rhythm-management credentials within 1 year.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
• ADN degree required.
• First aid, BLS, ACLS and rhythm-management credentials within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to telemetry and stroke patients per the plan of care.
• Coordinate and delegate care with/to other professionals and support staff.
• Document findings and ensure adherence to SRH policies and standards.

7:00PM-7:00AM to include every other weekend

Utilizing the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) provides and documents professional
nursing care to telemetry and stroke patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established SRH and Nursing Policies
and Standard Work. Coordinates and delegates the care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel. Communicates findings as indicated
to appropriate person(s). Must adhere to (meet) the requirements for educational hours as outlined in the NIAHO standards for Primary Stroke
Center. Performs any other job-related duties as requested by Nurse Manager or Director.

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina. ADN degree. BLS certified. ACLS within 1 year. Basic and Advanced
Arrhythmia within 1 year. NIHHS Certificate within 1 year
