Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Staff Nurse for The Blake at St Johns, a senior living community. The role involves providing medical treatment and administering medications per physician orders within state regulations, while delivering world-class care and supporting memory and performance improvement programs.

You will work independently and with a team, serving as charge nurse on shift for personal assistants under the Wellness Leadership team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Licensed Practical Nurse license issued by the state.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver world-class care for residents and respond to changing needs.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.

We are currently looking for a Staff Nurse for The Blake at St Johns

Primary Responsibilities of the Staff Nurse:

• Provide medical treatment and administer medication according to physician orders within the scope of their applicable board and state regulations for assistant living.
• Provide world class care and service for our residents while remaining flexible and adapt to change.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Work independently (with minimal direct supervision) and with a team to make decisions, organize/prioritize tasks effectively, document clearly, and follow through on assignments.
• Serve as charge nurse on shift for the personal assistants under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart, willing to serve others.
• Current license for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) issued by the state.
• Current CPR certification
• Assisted Living or Long-term care experience preferred
• Current First Aid certification preferred
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
