Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Staff Nurse (LPN) for The Blake at Charlottesville. The position provides medical treatment and medication administration within state regulations and the scope of practice for assisted living.

You will deliver world-class care, support memory and performance improvement programs, and work both independently and with a team to organize tasks and ensure thorough documentation. Applicants should hold an active LPN license, have CPR and First Aid certifications, and

Qualifications

• Current LPN license issued by the state.
• CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Experience in Assisted Living or long-term care preferred.
• Willing to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical treatment and administer medication according to physician orders within the scope of applicable board and state regulations for assisted living.
• Provide world class care and service for residents while remaining flexible and adapt to change.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Work independently (with minimal direct supervision) and with a team to organize/prioritize tasks, document clearly, and follow through on assignments.
• Serve as charge nurse on shift for the personal assistants under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team.

Primary Responsibilities of the Staff Nurse:

• Provide medical treatment and administer medication according to physician orders within the scope of their applicable board and state regulations for assistant living.
• Provide world class care and service for our residents while remaining flexible and adapt to change.
• Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
• Work independently (with minimal direct supervision) and with a team to make decisions, organize/prioritize tasks effectively, document clearly, and follow through on assignments.
• Serve as charge nurse on shift for the personal assistants under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team

Requirements

• Must have a caring heart, willing to serve others.
• Current license for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) issued by the state.
• Current CPR certification
• Assisted Living or Long-term care experience preferred
• Current First Aid certification preferred
• Must be flexible and prepared to work a variety of shifts including weekends and holidays
