Job summary

Qualifications

• Built and operated production networks across data centers or similar large infra.
• Strong software engineering skills in Go, Python, Rust, or similar.
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, routing, switching, and data center fabrics.
• Experience with network automation and infrastructure software in production.
• Experience with Linux systems and software-defined networking.
• Familiarity with configuration management and observability concepts.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and technical roadmap for Mount Thor’s production network.
• Design and operate data center fabrics, site connectivity, host networking, customer networks, and management networks.
• Build software for network provisioning, configuration, validation, deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Establish a source of truth for topology, addressing, configuration, inventory, and operational state.
• Bring new sites and capacity online from design through production handoff.
• Build observability across devices, links, hosts, and workloads and detect issues before customers are affected.
• Improve availability, capacity, security, and recovery time; lead incidents and durable fixes.
• Make agentic development and operation core to the network platform using safe, self-healing automation.
