IDR, Inc. is seeking a Staff Network Engineer to join one of our top clients for a hybrid onsite opportunity in the healthcare sector.

You will support the stable operation of LAN/WAN networks, plan, install, configure, and optimize network hardware and software. The role requires technical leadership, on-call rotations 24/7, and minimal oversight in a senior capacity, designing and developing network solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or 4+ years in network engineering.
• CCNA certification and solid LAN/WAN knowledge.
• Experience with 24/7 on-call rotations and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support the stable operation of LAN/WAN networks.

IDR is seeking a Staff Network Engineer to join one of our top clients for a hybrid onsite opportunity. This role supports the stable operation of complex network systems within a healthcare environment, including planning, installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware and software. The ideal candidates will provide technical leadership, support 24/7 on-call rotations, and ensure network availability and security.

Position Overview for the Staff Network Engineer:

• Support the stable operation of the in-house computer network (LAN/WAN).
• Plan, install, configure, and optimize all network hardware, software, and communication links.
• Diagnose, resolve, and document network problems and solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and leadership to peers and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Operate with minimal oversight in a senior-level capacity, designing and developing network solutions.

Requirements for the Staff Network Engineer:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, or engineering, or four (4) years of experience in a network engineering-related field.
• Two to Four (2-4) years of networking experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or equivalent skill set.
• Demonstrated working technical knowledge of LAN/WAN/Wireless networking.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with strong troubleshooting skills.
