Temple University Health System, Inc. is hiring a Part-time Mammography Technologist for the Fox Chase Cancer Center. This role involves performing medical mammograms, ensuring proper equipment operation and maintaining safety standards. Candidates should possess a high school diploma and a background in radiologic technology.

You will be required to manage QA tests and work on a Mobile Mammography Van when necessary. Relevant certifications and experience in radiologic positions are essential.

Job Title

Mammography Technologist - Part Time - Fox Chase Cancer Center (262787)

Responsibilities

Performs medical mammograms to diagnose disease or trauma, programming the machine for correct density, contrast, definition, magnification, and distortion. Prepares, maintains, and operates mammography equipment safely and responsibly, following radiation safety guidelines. Performs and documents all QA/QC tests as defined by MQSA. Required to work on Mobile Mammography Van when needed, including some weekends, and may be assigned to the van.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Non‑degree program graduate from a two‑year AMA approved radiologic technology program. Required

Experience

• 2 years experience in a Radiologic Technologist position Required
• 1 year experience in Mammography Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Registered Technologist (R) (M) Required
• MR‑Mammography Quality Standard Act Required
• Basic Life Support Required
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Mammography required within 2 years from date of hire
