Job summary

Wayve is seeking an ML Software Engineer to join the MEGA team in Sunnyvale, CA, building foundation models for general-purpose robots. You will design scalable ML pipelines, data and training infrastructure, and reusable tools for researchers across multiple ML projects.

You will work with large video and robotics data, modern ML frameworks, and large models, ensuring reliability, maintainability, and efficient iteration as the program grows. Hybrid work policy is in place at Wayve.

Qualifications

• Proven software engineering experience building high-quality, maintainable software.
• Experience designing reliable ML pipelines and research workflows.
• Hands-on with modern ML frameworks and debugging large ML systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ML pipelines for data ingestion, model training, evaluation, and research workflows.
• Create software systems enabling ML workloads to scale to larger datasets and models.
• Develop clean interfaces between data, models, training, evaluation, and robotics workflows.
• Own MEGA codebase health, architecture, testing, reliability, and standards.
