Docker, Inc. is hiring a Staff ML Engineer to be a founding engineer on the Intelligence team. You will design and build ML systems focused on governance and security capabilities, contributing directly to shaping the technical direction of Docker's platform.

This role requires 5+ years of ML/AI expertise and 8+ years of software engineering experience. Docker offers a remote-first culture and various perks, including flexible work arrangements and equity options.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of deep applied ML/AI expertise with a track record of shipping production systems.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with data pipelines, evaluation, monitoring, and customer-facing products.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, evaluate, and ship ML systems for governance and security.
• Build infrastructure: data pipelines, model serving, and feedback loops.
• Set technical direction for ML work and own the architecture.
