Job summary

Striveworks, a leading AI company serving national security and business challenges, seeks a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to drive end-to-end AI-powered solutions from data shaping to end-user delivery. You will mentor cross-functional teams and engage with customers to shape project direction.

You will design data pipelines, ML models for diverse data types, and contribute to platform capabilities. The role requires 10+ years, an advanced degree, and US citizenship with an active security

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience in data science, ML, or software engineering.
• Advanced degree in data science, ML, CS, or related field.
• Proficiency in Python and ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and systems programming (Go, Rust, C++, Java, Scala).
• Experience delivering production ML solutions and data pipelines in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Agile, version control, CI/CD, and other software engineering practices.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Active Secret (or above) US security clearance.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements with customers and stakeholders to solve problems with our AI operations platform.
• Translate requirements into technical designs, scope, and execution plans.
• Lead delivery teams to on-time project completion while contributing technically.
• Design, orchestrate, and automate complex data pipelines and ML algorithms.
• Develop ML models for image, video, text, geospatial, time-series, and structured data.
• Share insights to improve practices and expand opportunities.
• Perform fieldwork at customer sites and liaise with stakeholders.
