Job summary

Wand is seeking a Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join University, a new team focused on agent memory, evolution, and reasoning. You will design and build memory systems, ensure secure, scalable deployment in the cloud, and work with a world-class team to push the frontier of agent intelligence.

You will collaborate with research and product teams to ship practical agent capabilities, evaluate performance, and shape the roadmap for memory and reasoning.

Qualifications

• Shipped production agents or agent-adjacent systems.
• Experience with memory, context engineering, or techniques to improve agent reasoning without retraining.
• Builder's mindset: rapid delivery, practical results.

Responsibilities

• Build agent memory systems and the mechanisms that generate, curate, refine, and store information.
• Design memory with confidentiality and scoping to prevent leaks.
• Develop systems to monitor agent behavior and extract reusable best practices at scale.
• Create reusable capabilities or "skills" for AI agents and improve reasoning.
