Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking an experienced Staff Mixed Signal Design Engineer to lead the design of high‑speed mixed-signal CMOS ICs for industrial applications. You will work on clock and data recovery, VCO/PLL, and high‑speed data paths within a collaborative team.

The role requires a strong background in RF or high-speed CMOS, data converters, and FinFET CMOS processes, with opportunities to mentor engineers and present results to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Requires BSEE; MSEE preferred.
• 5+ years in system design/architecture engineering and design integration.
• Proven experience in RF or High Speed CMOS and/or data converter design.
• Expertise in FinFET (16nm/5nm) or fine-line planar analog CMOS (28 nm).
• Experience with SW-defined CMOS communications or radar system design.
• Proficiency in digitally-assisted high-speed analog design.
• Excellent presentation and writing/communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of complex systems with high performance and reliability.
• Design wireline transmitters and receivers.
• Develop mixed-mode DFE designs.
• Design and implement clock & data recovery circuits.
• Collaborate on and refine VCO/PLL designs.
• Apply expertise in wireline equalization (analog & digital).
• Design custom high-speed digital circuits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate designs into larger systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Present design concepts and results to stakeholders.
