You will own core hardware for the humanoid platform, drive decisions on performance, cost and reliability, and mentor engineers while collaborating with AI, software, manufacturing and electrical teams to deliver integrated systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in robotics, automation, aerospace, or similar design spaces.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Proven track record designing for mass manufacturing and scaling suppliers to volume.
• Expert in CAD and CAE tools like FEA, CFD, thermal analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design and own humanoid hardware including actuators, battery, embedded electronics, structures and harnessing.
• Collaborate with AI, software, manufacturing and electrical teams to develop tightly integrated hardware.
• Set architecture, establish the mechanical engineering discipline, and mentor engineers.
• Drive key technical decisions on performance, cost, production, and reliability.
