Job summary

Burns & McDonnell is looking for a Staff Mechanical Engineer to design natural gas facilities, including compressor and meter stations. This role requires collaboration with project teams and the ability to adapt engineering plans throughout the design and construction phases.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in engineering tools such as AutoCAD and BIM is essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years of mechanical engineering experience required, consulting preferred.
• Working knowledge of applicable codes and standards preferred.
• Experience with mechanical design software and engineering tools essential.

Responsibilities

• Execution of mechanical engineering design for natural gas facilities.
• Preparation of calculations and technical reports.
• Coordination with other disciplines including Environmental.
