Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering required.
• 5+ years of professional design and/or hands-on manufacturing experience required.
• Experience in a startup or highly dynamic engineering environment preferred.
• Master's degree in mechanical engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience with SolidWorks, GD&T, FEA, and COMSOL is desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, analysis, and manufacturing of complex mechanical and thermal hardware.
• Architect and design systems from the ground up using SolidWorks and GD&T.
• Perform advanced structural (FEA) and thermal (COMSOL) analyses up to 1500°C.
• Design custom weldments and oversee their fabrication and quality.
• Architect and implement data acquisition and instrumentation to validate prototype performance.
• Own project life cycles in a startup environment to meet tight timelines.
