Brindley Engineering Corporation in Illinois seeks a detail-oriented mechanical engineer to lead field evaluations of in-service equipment and piping systems, diagnosing reliability issues and designing for rehabilitation.
You will perform calculations, develop repair drawings, and prepare scope of work packages for construction while mentoring small teams and coordinating with clients and contractors during outages and turnarounds.
Detail-oriented, reliable, creative team player to lead field evaluations of in-service equipment and piping systems to correct maintenance and reliability issues in process-industry facilities. Analyze, calculate, and design for new or rehabilitated infrastructure.
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
Min Yr = 8+
Licensure:
P.E. Preferred
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of ASME B31.3, B31.1, ASME VIII Div I&2 required
Knowledge of API 510/570/650/653, AutoCAD, Revit, & Bluebeam preferred
Management:
Experience Mentoring And Leading Small Teams Required
Other Skills:
Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills
$110,000 - $150,000 annually
The above pay range represents a general guideline; however, Brindley considers several factors when determining base salary that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, certifications, specific work location, and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonus and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans in addition to base pay to reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results.
