Qualifications

  • ABET-accredited Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degree required.
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
  • Experience with finite element modeling/analysis preferred.
  • Experience reading engineering drawings and instrumentation design preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently or in teams.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze airframe structures using standard principles and FE analysis as needed.
  • Perform fatigue and fracture analyses of airframe components.
  • Analyze flight data for regime recognition and remaining useful life.
  • CAD modeling and develop data packages to support repair design/analysis.
  • Design laboratory load tests and instrumentation for validation of repair designs.
