Job summary

Mainspring Energy is seeking a Senior/Staff Manufacturing Process Engineer to bridge product development and scalable manufacturing in California. You will own process planning, validation, and quality gates for new products while supporting continuous improvement across production lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required or equivalent.
• 7–10+ years for Senior, 10–15+ years for Staff in manufacturing/process engineering of electromechanical products.
• Proficiency with PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, DOE, SPC, 8D, Cpk and GR&R.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes from prototype to high-volume production.
• Lead process validation activities using PFMEA, DOE, capability studies (Cpk), and GR&R.
• Drive cross-functional risk mitigation with Design, Quality, and Operations.
