Job summary

Moog's Space Sector, Actuation Systems Business Unit, is seeking a Staff Manager, Project Engineering. You will lead and develop approx. 20 project engineers, oversee projects to meet design, cost and schedule targets, and contribute to proposals for new business growth.

This onsite role is based in Elma, NY with access to US export-controlled information. Candidates should hold a BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field, bring 7+ years of relevant experience, and demonstrated

• 7+ years of relevant technical experience.
• Proven track record managing and leading engineering teams to success.
• Experience with people leadership and conflict resolution.
• Demonstrated experience in project management including EVMS, Risk and Opportunity Management, Scope Management, Schedule and Budget Management.
• Ability to work onsite in Elma, NY (remote candidates will not be considered).

Position Overview

Our team in the Space Sector's Actuation Systems Business Unit is looking for a Staff Manager, Project Engineering. You will be responsible for leading and developing approximately 20 project engineering direct reports. You will be charged with the oversight of engineering projects, ensuring development and production projects comply with our Design and Development standard processes. You will also participate in proposal efforts with strong engineering teams supporting new business capture and long-term growth. This position will have an onsite work schedule in Elma, New York and requires access to U.S. export-controlled information and the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Buffalo, NY $140,000.00-$170,000.00 Annually
