Job summary

Black & Veatch, a 100% ESOP-owned leader in sustainable infrastructure, seeks a Staff Process Engineer- LNG. You will lead LNG facility process design from feasibility through commissioning and mentor junior engineers.

Hybrid work options support collaboration with teams across Overland Park, KS and Houston, TX locations, with a focus on safe, compliant delivery of complex projects. You will apply advanced engineering techniques, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and help deliver

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years related LNG experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) License.
Smart Plant P&IDC (SPPID) experience.
Working knowledge of process simulators such as PRO II, Promax, Protreat and HYSYS.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Leads process engineering design of LNG facilities and related chemical processes.
Leads implementation through feasibility, FEL, FEED, detailed design, EPC and commissioning.
Mentors junior engineers and reviews their work.
Coordinates with internal/external teams on moderately complex projects.
Develops client relationships and supports business development activities.
Provides guidance on design guides, standards, and quality programs.
Manages budgets, schedules, and quality requirements for assigned tasks.
