Job summary

StratITech is hiring a senior network engineer to architect and operate secure, high-performance data center and edge networks supporting AI and distributed compute workloads. You will translate loosely defined needs into concrete requirements and plans, and own the end-to-end implementation and production operation.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, production-grade BGP/EVPN, and network automation, with on-call responsibilities and collaboration across multiple tech teams.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of network, data center infrastructure, or closely related engineering experience.
• At least five years of hands-on data center network engineering or administration.
• Production network architecture ownership, not just implementing others’ designs.
• Experience with BGP and routing policy.
• Experience with EVPN/VXLAN and ECMP.
• Strong Linux and network troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work autonomously with undefined requirements.

Responsibilities

• Architect and operate secure, high-performance data center and edge networks.
• Translate infrastructure needs into technical requirements, architecture decisions, implementation plans, and standards.
• Design, configure, and troubleshoot spine-leaf fabrics using BGP, EVPN/VXLAN, and ECMP.
• Own WAN and LAN transit networks, backhaul connectivity, switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Automate network configuration, validation, deployment, and operational workflows.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities and stay hands-on across infrastructure and production environments.
