Job summary

Pennoni in Leesburg, VA is seeking a Staff Landscape Architect to work on multi-discipline public and private site development projects from our Leesburg office. You will contribute to design, permitting, and construction plans for land development and municipal projects.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture and at least four years of professional experience, with proficiency in CAD software and GIS tools, strong communication, and the ability to work

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture (or related field).
4+ years of professional landscape architecture experience with land development projects.
Experience with residential, commercial, institutional, and public projects is a plus.
Proficiency with MS-Office 365 and CAD/GIS tools is expected; familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, LandFX, SketchUp, Lumion, Revit, and ArcGIS is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist on multi-discipline site development projects and support design, permitting, and construction plans.
Prepare landscape plans and renderings for stakeholder presentations.
Coordinate off-site impacts with stakeholders and development team.
Develop conceptual design alternatives and assist with master/site plans, grading, and planting plans.
Perform limited field inspections as needed.
