CVS Health is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead as both a Technical Lead and individual contributor. You will help build our next-generation platform, design scalable microservices, and develop APIs for health-care solutions in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

You will mentor juniors, participate in architecture discussions, and drive delivery excellence across teams, with a focus on quality, performance, and customer impact.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience delivering enterprise-scale software in a distributed environment.
• 5+ years of Java and Springboot development.
• 5+ years with enterprise cloud initiatives and cloud computing technologies.
• 5+ years designing and developing modern microservices and cost-effective APIs.
• 3+ years of CI/CD pipeline automation.
• 3+ years in an Agile development environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient, scalable solutions meeting business requirements and quality standards.
• Contribute to solution design and architecture discussions with architects and senior engineers.
• Provide input on feasibility, performance, and scalability to meet objectives.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards and quality guidelines.
• Synchronize with teammates to align, share technical insights, and drive decision making.
• Promote best practices and adoption of new technologies to boost productivity and code quality.
• Engage in knowledge sharing through code reviews, talks, and workshops.
