Job summary

Reddit's iOS Platform team seeks a Staff Engineer to shape the future of our iOS app. You will own core architecture, set development standards, and drive technology choices that affect the entire iOS stack across Reddit.

You will mentor senior iOS engineers, lead platform redesigns for modularity and performance, and collaborate with design, product, and data teams to deliver scalable experiences for billions of users.

Qualifications

10+ years of software development experience with at least 5+ years in designing/developing iOS applications.
Experience influencing larger organizations on iOS technical direction/best practices.
Experience with SwiftUI and structured Concurrency.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

Own the architecture of Reddit's iOS Mobile App and scale to 100M+ DAUs.
Identify gaps and lead redesigns to improve modularity, performance, and quality.
Build agentic workflows to accelerate migrations across a multi-million line codebase.
Mentor iOS developers across Reddit.
Be the go-to person for developers on complex iOS problems.
