Job summary
Snap Inc is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, iOS to join our team and push the boundaries of mobile technology within Snapchat’s camera experiences. You will design and implement high-performance Objective-C software, build new features, and collaborate with Design to refine UI and infrastructure while maintaining rigorous standards for code correctness and security.
You will mentor teammates, perform code reviews, and leverage AI tools to ship scalable services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field such as computer science or equivalent experience.
- 9+ years of post-bachelor software development experience or advanced degrees with years of experience.
- Experience with iOS application development and leadership or domain expert role.
Responsibilities
- Create and refine high performance mobile apps for iOS.
- Build stable, responsive products for Snapchat camera experiences.
- Design, architect and implement well-tested Objective-C software.
- Develop and launch new features with careful tradeoff evaluation.
- Collaborate with Design to optimize UI and infrastructure.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain quality and security.
- Leverage AI tools to design scalable services with robust production code.
