AeroVect Technologies Inc. is seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Infrastructure (On-Prem) to own the physical infrastructure powering its autonomous vehicle operations at garage facilities.

You will manage bare-metal servers, networking gear, and on-prem data processing pipelines that ingest dashcam images and telemetry, and you will push software to fleet devices in live deployments. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, EE, or a related field.
• 7+ years of on-prem infrastructure, bare metal, and networking experience.
• Proficiency in C++ for data processing, including standard library and multithreading.
• Strong Python and Bash for automation and tooling.
• Experience deploying software to physical devices or embedded systems.
• Familiarity with data ingestion pipelines from edge devices to centralized systems.

Responsabilités

• Develop, configure and maintain uploaders and networking gear at AeroVect's garage facilities.
• Manage software release delivery to autonomous tractors and on-prem devices across sites.
• Build and maintain on-prem data processing apps in C++ and Python for real-time data.
• Ensure reliable ingestion of vehicle data, dashcam images, telemetry, and upload to cloud.
• Maintain and improve an operator-facing UI layer for day-to-day garage ops.
• Monitor server health, network performance, and data pipeline reliability.
• Develop automation tools in Python and Bash to streamline on-prem ops and deployment.
• Collaborate with cloud team to ensure clean data handoff between on-prem and cloud.
