Job summary

Profound is a marketing platform powering AI-powered search. We are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to design and scale systems that support rapid growth in NYC or SF.

This on-site role requires building reliable, cost-efficient infrastructure with strong observability. You'll work across product and research teams, implement IaC with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes, and optimize performance and security.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in building scalable infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Experience with CI/CD and monitoring is required.
• Strong scripting or programming skills with Python; Rust a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain core infrastructure across cloud environments.
• Build IaC workflows to automate deployments and scaling.
• Improve monitoring, logging, and alerting for reliability.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments.
• Support disaster recovery and high availability.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to scale architectures.
• Identify and fix performance bottlenecks in compute, storage, networking.
• Apply security best practices and compliance standards.
