Job summary

ShipBob is seeking a Staff Industrial Engineer – Supply Chain Operations to drive future flow improvements across our warehouse network. The role offers hybrid work with on-site days and up to 30% travel to other sites, including Chicago, Dallas, and Moreno Valley, CA.

You will lead continuous improvement projects, train teams, and develop new programs to eliminate waste. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industrial engineering, strong CAD skills, and solid project management experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional Industrial Engineering experience.
• Advanced knowledge of production machinery, processes and standards.
• Experience in project management.
• Basic 2D/3D CAD software skills.
• Travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Enforce quality control to reduce waste.
• Improve the efficiency of fulfillment and transportation processes.
• Investigate, evaluate, develop project estimates, financial proposals, and manage various operational projects.
• Lead corrective and preventive action teams from customer complaints and internal quality problems.
• Provide on-floor technical support and guide process improvement teams.
• Develop CAD drawings, process flow charts, and cost saving analyses.
• Coordinate with cross functional teams on new processes and equipment planning.
• Define and document Standard Operating Procedures for new and modified processes.
• Identify barriers and drive attainment of project goals.
• Manage data collection and analysis for project tracking.
