Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Staff Human Factors Engineer to lead Human Systems Integration activities in an agile environment, based in Melbourne, Florida. The role involves coordinating with section managers, staffing the HSI team, and representing the team in meetings to ensure alignment of requirements and implementations.

The candidate will conduct MIL-STD-1472 compliant analyses, and contribute to usability and workload studies, requiring a strong background in Human

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a related discipline and 12 years of Human Factors experience, Master’s with 10 years, or a PhD with 8+ years.
• Must have experience with Cameo.
• Ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government Secret clearance (in-scope or Continuous Evaluation) and program access as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Human Systems Integration (HSI) activities in support of the Systems Engineering IPT lead.
• Staff the HSI team and assign tasks.
• Represent the HSI team at staff, customer, and technical meetings.
• Support MIL-STD-1472 compliance and Human Factors analyses.
• Contribute to Human Factors analyses (task analyses, workload, usability, situational awareness).
