Job summary

Nscale is hiring a Staff HPC Systems Software Engineer to define the technical direction for a defined HPC domain within our GPU cloud platform. You will shape architecture, automate workflows, and ensure reliable, scalable Slurm-based services across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive production experience building HPC software with Slurm.
• Strong Go/Python programming skills for maintainable code.
• Ability to set technical direction across multiple teams.
• Deep knowledge of Slurm internals, scheduler behavior, lifecycle.
• Genuine understanding of GPU-backed infrastructure and HPC networking.
• Experience integrating HPC with cloud-native platforms and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own the HPC domain architecture and define technical direction.
• Drive cross-team design for Slurm, Kubernetes-adjacent systems, and APIs.
• Lead critical initiatives across 2–4 teams and unblock delivery.
