Job summary

Nscale is hiring a Staff Cloud Native Software Engineer to build, operate, and improve cloud-native integrations that connect AI applications and networking components at scale. You’ll work on shared Kubernetes-based platforms and contribute to reliability and scalability of GPU-backed infrastructure.

You’ll own significant components end-to-end, set technical direction across teams, mentor engineers, and help define standards for safe rollout of changes.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of production software experience.
• Hands-on Kubernetes-native software experience with controllers, operators, CRDs, or admission webhooks.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes internals and networking (CNI, service mesh, kube-proxy/eBPF).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate Kubernetes-native software with CRDs and webhooks.
• Extend Kubernetes control-plane for AI workloads and networking.
• Own components end-to-end and set technical direction.
• Develop tooling to simplify deployment and operations.
• Collaborate with platform, infra, and product teams.
