Digital Dynamics Inc in Scotts Valley, CA, is seeking a Staff PCB Design Engineer to lead multi-layer PCB layouts for high-performance control systems, translating schematics into optimized layouts with strong signal integrity, EMI/EMC, and thermal management.

You will own layout execution and release packages (Gerber/ODB++), define stack-ups with vendors, and collaborate with ME and CM partners to resolve fabrication challenges. Requires 8+ years in PCB design and advanced Altium skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
8+ years of PCB design and layout experience.
Advanced experience with Altium Designer and multi-layer PCB design (6+ layers).
Strong knowledge of signal integrity, EMI/EMC, and thermal performance.
Experience creating full design release packages (Gerber/ODB++).
DFM/DFA principles applied to fabrication and assembly.

Responsibilities

Design and develop complex, multi-layer PCB layouts (6+ layers) with high-speed signals.
Translate schematics into optimized layouts prioritizing SI/EMI/thermal performance.
Own layout execution, release quality, and documentation (Gerber/ODB++).
Define stack-ups, materials, and fabrication requirements with vendors.
Collaborate with ME for enclosure, fit, and thermal constraints; support CM partners.
