Job summary

Google Mountain View, CA, USA is seeking a Staff Hardware/Software Systems Architect to drive co-design of next‑generation SoCs. You will shape IP roadmaps and system software, influencing a broad hardware/software ecosystem and product platforms for direct-to-consumer devices.

As a senior contributor, you’ll lead cross‑functional collaboration with Research, Pixel, and platform teams to deliver optimized, power‑efficient, high‑performance solutions across the silicon stack.

Qualifications

US: $192000 - $278000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

• Shape software architecture to unlock the full potential and specialized capabilities of custom silicon.
• Partner with Google Research, Pixel, and platform software teams to engineer category-defining features and user experiences.

• Manage complex system-level bottlenecks by advocating bold, creative architectural approaches.
