Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in San Diego seeks a Staff Hardware Engineer (Level 5) to lead RF/digital hardware sustainment for the F-22 program. The role is onsite at Rancho Carmel and Spectrum campuses with some telework at manager’s discretion.

You’ll drive test strategies, own high-impact investigations, mentor engineers, and collaborate across systems, software, and manufacturing. A DoD security clearance and US citizenship are required.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with extensive related engineering experience, or advanced degrees with relevant experience.
• Experience with classified and unclassified networks, secure data/storage solutions, and government interfaces.
• Hands-on electrical and RF troubleshooting with test equipment.
• Ability to read specifications and translate to test and troubleshooting approaches.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams on complex hardware issues.
• Active Government Secret level Security Clearance and ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
