Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Staff Engineer, PCB Manufacturing (Production) in San Jose, CA to lead the transition of high-complexity PCB assemblies into high-volume manufacturing. You will own process development, NPI deployment, and manufacturing flow design to ensure reliability and quality for aerospace, defense, and AI infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in electronics manufacturing or high-rel hardware production.
• Experience with NPI and mass production transitions.
• Proven leadership of process engineers and technicians.
• Strong knowledge of SMT and PCB fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment of complex NPI programs and production launches.
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and technicians.
• Develop and refine manufacturing processes, including stencil design and reflow profiling.
• Review customer hardware specs for DFM/DFT feedback.
• Own supplier relationships with PCB fabricators.
• Lead 8D/RCCA for production escapes; use 3D X-Ray for diagnostics.
