Job summary

Grindr is seeking a Staff Product Manager, Growth to partner with our Head of Growth and build Grindr’s growth function across the user lifecycle. You’ll own key initiatives that optimize activation, retention, and reactivation through data-driven decisions.

This hybrid role involves collaboration with Data Science, Marketing, and international teams to translate insights into scalable product priorities and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on product management experience with complex consumer products.
• Track record delivering multi-quarter strategies that improve activation, engagement, or retention.
• Strong analytical judgment using data, experiments, and behavioral insights.
• Deep user orientation with qualitative and quantitative evidence.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and build Grindr’s growth product function across the user lifecycle.
• Develop and drive a multi-quarter roadmap for activation, retention, reactivation, and churn prevention.
• Improve the new-user experience from discovery to seven days on Grindr.
• Create re-onboarding experiences for returning users and re-engagement mechanisms.
• Partner with Data Science to analyze DAU/MAU and translate insights into priorities.
• Lead discovery, experimentation, launch, and iteration on growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with Marketing on App Store optimization and lifecycle capabilities; coordinate with international teams.
• Clarify ambiguous problems and align senior stakeholders around measurable outcomes.
