Job summary

Grindr is seeking a Staff Product Manager, Growth to partner with our Head of Growth and build Grindr’s user growth function. You’ll own key product areas across the lifecycle, using data and customer insights to improve acquisition, activation, reactivation, and retention.

Develop and drive a multi-quarter growth roadmap, improve onboarding for new users, and create strategies for re-onboarding returning users.

Qualifications

• Several years of hands-on product management experience.
• Ability to own growth-focused product areas across the user lifecycle.
• Strong written and verbal communication and product judgment.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-moving environments.
• Proven track record in activation, retention, reactivation, and churn prevention.

Responsibilities

• Own key product areas across the user lifecycle with insights-driven priorities.
• Develop and drive a multi-quarter roadmap for acquisition, activation, retention, and churn prevention.
• Improve the new-user onboarding and first-week experience.
• Design re-onboarding for returning users and re-engage less active users.
• Partner with Data Science to translate DAU/MAU insights into priorities.
• Lead discovery, experimentation, launch, and iteration on growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with Marketing on App Store optimization and lifecycle tech like Braze/AppsFlyer.
• Align stakeholders around priorities and measurable outcomes.
