This entry‑level position blends fieldwork with office analytics, including sampling soils, groundwater, sediment, and other media to support environmental site assessments and remediation projects. You will work with seasoned professionals, gain hands‑on experience, and develop report writing, budgeting, and project coordination skills while traveling to regional projects and

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental science, geology, hydrogeology, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of environmental science principles, data collection methods, and regulatory compliance.
  • Interest in working in the consulting environment.
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work independently.
  • Sound technical capabilities and organizational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as report writing will be part of your regular tasks.
  • Ability to perform physical duties including lifting, use of respiratory equipment and other protective gear, and traversing rough terrain.
  • Ability to drive and willingness to travel occasionally to regional projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) or Google Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Perform fieldwork tasks: sampling sediment, soil, groundwater, stormwater, soil vapor, indoor air, and other media to assess environmental impacts and regulatory compliance.
  • Transform field observations into technical reports for clients, teams, and regulators.
  • Track tasks, manage budgets, and estimate costs to align with project goals and schedules under PM guidance.
  • Foster coordination between field and office efforts and maintain professional communication with clients, contractors, and agencies.
