Job summary

About the Position

AEC, LLC is currently seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join our Louisville, Kentucky office as a Staff Geologist/Environmental Scientist. The ideal candidate will possess at least 3 years of relevant experience in managing leaking underground storage tank sites under the jurisdiction of the Kentucky Energy and Environmental Cabinet Division of Waste Management Underground Storage Tank Branch and familiarity with the Underground Storage Tank Branch UST Corrective Action Manual. Experience in soil and groundwater investigation, underground storage tank closures, and Phase I ESAs is also preferred.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Perform field work including subcontractor management, logging soil borings, oversee monitoring well installations, soil, groundwater, and vapor sample collection, and field work documentation
