Stripe, Inc. is hiring a Staff Full Stack Engineer to lead new consumer capabilities within Link. You’ll combine deep technical skills with product sense, taking ambiguous opportunities from definition to shipped products.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of backend and/or full-stack experience with owning large, ambiguous systems end-to-end.
• Led design and delivery of large, complex software projects from early definition to production launch.
• Strong full-stack skills: reliable backend services and polished user experiences.
• Experience guiding engineers on substantial projects as a senior contributor.
• Ability to navigate high-ambiguity environments and make durable tech decisions.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration to align teams and priorities.
• Sound engineering judgment on reliability, security, and maintainability.
• Product-minded engineering focusing on meaningful user and business outcomes.

Aufgaben

• Define and drive technical strategy for Link Consumer.
• Lead 0→1 initiatives from problem definition to launch.
• Design, build, and maintain polished UI, backend services, APIs, and systems.
• Identify risks and foundational investments to accelerate roadmap.
• Collaborate with Stripe teams to align roadmaps and priorities.
• Promote pragmatic code patterns across React/JS/CSS/GraphQL and Ruby APIs.
• Ensure UI and backend are reliable, secure, and accessible.
• Define operational processes and lead production issue responses.
• Drive learning and retrospectives to reduce risk across services.
