Job summary

Skyrocket Ventures in New York is seeking a Sr. to Staff Full Stack Engineer for a growing p2p rental marketplace startup. The role offers flexibility from 90% backend to 90% frontend development.

You will lead product development and engineering culture while working with a modern tech stack including TypeScript, React Native, and PostgreSQL. The salary can go up to $250k plus equity options.

Qualifications

• Professional experience building and shipping full-stack applications.
• Strong in at least one of: Node.js, Java, Python, Go, C++, C#, Ruby on Rails, Rust, Scala, or PHP.
• Experience building production APIs (REST, GraphQL, or RPC).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to or lead technical architecture and mentor engineers.
• Collaborate with product and design to define requirements and implement features.
• Design and maintain scalable backend services and databases.
