Job summary

The Consensus is seeking a Staff Full Stack Engineer to build high-performance web and desktop applications with real-time data flows. You’ll work across teams to architect scalable solutions using React, TypeScript, and Tauri, while embedding test-driven delivery and CI/CD as core practices.

You will mentor engineers, lead architectural discussions, and optimize data fetching, caching, and synchronization to support millions of users and edge processing needs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience developing in Javascript or TypeScript.
• Experience building scalable web and desktop applications.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, SCSS, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with real-time communication protocols (WebSockets, MQTT).
• Experience with unit testing and E2E testing (Cypress).
• Knowledge of Rust and Python is beneficial for backend integration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate requirements into software solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain web and desktop applications.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab with automated testing and deployments.
• Write clean, scalable code and accompanying tests.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best practices.
