BraverIT is seeking an experienced full-stack engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and React. You will own technical solutions, contribute to architecture, and partner with Product, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality software.

You will work in an Agile environment, maintain code quality, and ensure robust test coverage using JUnit, Cypress, and modern tooling. Strong communication in English (B2+) is required.

Competenze

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, ideally in full-stack roles.
• Strong backend development skills in Java, including Spring Boot and JPA.
• Solid experience with React and TypeScript.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, WebSockets, and JSON-based integrations.
• Practical experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience designing and maintaining unit and integration tests using JUnit and Cypress.
• Experience working in Agile environments, with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (B2 or higher).

Your responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java and React.Take ownership of technical solutions and contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement.Work closely with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software.Establish good engineering practices, maintain code quality, and ensure appropriate test coverage.Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and the continuous improvement of development processes.Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with the team to deliver business value.

Our requirements:

6+ years of professional software development experience, ideally in full-stack roles.Strong backend development skills in Java, including Spring Boot and JPA.Solid experience with React and TypeScript.Good understanding of REST APIs, WebSockets, and JSON-based integrations.Practical experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.Experience designing and maintaining unit and integration tests using tools such as JUnit and Cypress.Experience working in Agile environments, with tools such as Jira and Confluence.Ability to communicate effectively in English (B2 or higher).

Nice to have:

Familiarity with legacy Java technologies, such as Java EE, JSF, and JBoss.Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences domain.Understanding of cloud-native architectures, preferably within AWS environments.Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL and MongoDB.Familiarity with Big Data frameworks and technologies, including Hadoop and Spark.Exposure to content repositories, such as Apache JackRabbit.Knowledge of frontend build tools, such as Vite and Webpack.Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.Familiarity with container orchestration platforms, particularly Kubernetes.
