You will own and evolve critical security components, drive architectural decisions, and mentor teammates, while delivering reliable, scalable solutions that balance speed and cost with reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience building web applications.
• Proficiency in PHP, Hack, or Java, Python, Ruby, Go, or C.
• Strong CS fundamentals and data structures.
• Ability to drive technical decisions and write maintainable code.
• Excellent communication to collaborate with product and security teams.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm with product and design teams to conceptualize security features for enterprise customers.
• Deliver high-quality code and contribute to projects protecting Slack platform.
• Own core security features or systems and improve surrounding infrastructure.
• Assist triage and resolution of production issues to maintain availability.
• Mentor engineers and elevate engineering standards and tooling.
