Job summary

Fivetran is seeking a Staff Full-Stack Engineer on the Cloud Clients team. You will own end-to-end delivery across the dbt Studio in the browser, the dbt VS Code extension, and the CLI workspace runtime powering both surfaces.

You will help build AI-native developer experience, including agent workflows, diff review, streaming tool calls, charts and rich outputs for conversational analytics, across Python, TypeScript, React, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building production software with ownership of multi-month projects.
• Strong Python expertise with exposure to TypeScript and React across the stack.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery for the Cloud Clients surfaces (dbt Studio, VS Code extension, CLI).
• Build AI-native developer experiences: agent workflows, diff review, streaming tool calls, charts, rich outputs.
